2009

Wow, 2009 was a great year. I did my first baby photo session, plenty of weddings, tons of engagements and bridals, a few maternity shoots and lots of traveling for Landscape work.  As you can see 2009 was a busy year for me.  2009 got me thinking about expanding my skills and restructuring my website. I have decided to do the following in 2010:

1) Setup a separate website for my Landscape and Fine Art Photography – Announcement will be coming soon!

2) Take on more baby photography.  After doing my first two baby photoshoots I found that I absolutely loved working with babies, and that my wife has a very good eye for this style of photography. So this year we will be offering more packages for new parents.

3) Make the blog my default website. I find that a blog has been the best way to show everyone what I do. It’s so hard to have a static site with only a small amount of photos to show off. With a blog it is a non-stop interactive portfolio!

On Jan 1st I will be announcing my New Year Special for everyone who was recently engaged! Stay Tuned!!

Snow…again!

Wow, I can’t remember the last time we had this much snow here in the DFW area. Yesterday after work I headed to Arbor Hills to try and capture the snow. The lighting conditions were horrible and the snow was really wet. I didn’t get the shot I wanted, but hey it was still fun.

Alaynah at 7 months!

I must be the luckiest photographer in the world. This past year of photographing babies I have nothing but great experiences to share. I always hear horror stories of 6-9 month old babies not sitting still or crying to much. Alaynah was perfect. She sat still most of the time, always smiled, and was the cutest little model! Her mother loved the results and ordered a ton of prints. She says she will be back at 1 year. I can’t wait!

Priceless moment!

Sometimes you just get lucky, other times I find that it is key to constantly look around while photographing weddings to capture interesting moments. While photographing Alisa and Rusty’s wedding I got this shot of Alisa’s mother looking at Rusty. I love this photo!
